Our Aim
Our Aim is to cultivate a world where the message of Tawheed (the Oneness of Allah ﷻ) is understood and cherished. We aspire to share the teachings of Islam, rooted in the belief that Allah ﷻ is Ar-Rahman (The Most Merciful), Al-Qadeer (The All-Powerful), and Al-Ahad (The One and Only). Through following the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, we seek to encourage compassion, justice, and unity within communities. We envision a society where hearts are guided by the principles of Iman (faith), Ihsan (excellence in worship and character), and sincere love for Allah ﷻ and His creation.
We strive for a future where the Ummah (global Muslim community) flourishes in peace, respect, and mutual care, and where every individual, Muslim and non-Muslim alike, feels the warmth of Islam’s message of mercy. By embodying the teachings of the Qur’an and the Hadith, we aim to promote understanding, bridge differences, and invite others to experience the serenity of submission to Allah ﷻ. In a world often marked by division, our vision is to be a source of Rahmah (mercy), Barakah (blessings), and light, reflecting the true spirit of Islam in every word and action.
Objectives
Our objective is to share the true message of Islam in a way that is accessible, peaceful, and welcoming to all. We strive to heal divisions and build meaningful connections by promoting unity within the Ummah and encouraging respectful dialogue across different backgrounds. Moreover, We are committed to highlighting Islam’s message of mercy, compassion, and justice, offering content that uplifts and inspires.
Through spiritual resources and real-life examples, we seek to help individuals grow closer to Allah ﷻ and develop strong, noble character in everyday life. We also supports kindness in action—through charity, service, and positive engagement with the world—reflecting the character of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Above all, we hope to be a source of light, peace, and hope in a time when these values are needed most.
Our Mission
Our mission is to build a future where the Ummah prospers in unity, peace, and compassion—and where the beauty of Islam is known, felt, and lived by all. We work to educate Muslims and non-Muslims alike, correct common misconceptions about Islam, and offer spiritual resources that promote Islamic character development, faith, and community unity.
Through our content, we seek to strengthen the global Muslim community, encourage respectful interfaith dialogue, and reflect the values of Rahmah (mercy) and Barakah (blessings) in everything we do. By embodying the teachings of Islam in our work, we aim to counter Islamophobia, build bridges, and invite people to discover the peace of submitting to Allah ﷻ.
In an increasingly polarized world, we seek to be a source of healing—bringing hearts closer to Allah ﷻ, connecting people across cultures and beliefs, and showing, through action and example, the deep serenity and strength found in submission to the Creator. We pray that this work becomes a means of benefit in this world and the next, and a light that guides others toward truth, mercy, and hope.
Our Vision
Our vision is to offer a platform that represents a unified Muslim community voice that transcends diverse religious positions of individual member Mosques. We strive for high standards and best practice within the Muslim community.
TVMC is an independent organization, dedicated to supporting and empowering Masaajid and other Muslim organisations in the Thames Valley East region to understand and perform their religious and civic duties in accordance to Islamic principles.
The Thames Valley East Masaajid Council (TVeMC) is a consortium of 10 mosques representing over 57,000 Muslims in Slough, Windsor, Maidenhead, South Bucks, Runnymede and neighbouring areas; essentially the entire geographical footprint of the Thames Valley East region.
The TVeMC is dedicated to fostering unity, collaboration, and effective Islamic guidance within the Muslim community. Our primary aim is to facilitate co-operation and harmony amongst local Muslim communities and form interactive and effective relationships with statutory and non-statutory organisations as well as other religious communities to improve religious and racial harmony.
As a representative of the Muslim community, we offer advocacy as well as advice and guidance services to local Muslim organisations and individuals to partner and collaborate with statutory agencies and other organisations to shape future service in the Thames Valley region. Working collaboratively, we identify common issues and co-produce strategies and programmes which could benefit the whole of the Muslim community.
