Welcome to Dunya – Guidance for Muslim Parents
Produced by Ujala Foundation in conjunction with the Thames Valley East Masaajid Council, the guide is aimed at Muslim parents expecting a child form Pre-Birth to Early Development stages.
What This Guide Offers
This guide focusses on two important areas:
- a) Islamic knowledge about a child’s evolution from the embryonic stages to birth and then to a full grown young person and
- b) Islamic guidance on Parents roles, responsibilities and the Sunnah of Prophet Mohammad “صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ”
The guidance also covers enlightenment on the matters of raising a child according to Quran and Sunnah from pregnancy, through birth and up until puberty age.
It is envisaged that the guide will help Muslim parents by providing tips and instructions on the Islamic practises of raising their children and catering towards their best Tarbiyah.
