ISLAMIC  PRE- MARRIAGE GUIDANCE

Marriage in Islam, is the only legitimate mechanism for a man and women to join together to create a family, which is the core of an Islamic society.

Maidenhead Central Mosque in conjunction with the Thames Valley East is about to launch a booklet providing general guidance for Muslim men and women preparing to get married on three key areas

1) Finding a suitable spouse,

2) Nikah and

3) Post Marriage relationship.

The booklet also includes some information on the role of the Prophet as a husband  and  explores other issues concerning arranged and forced marriages and  ‘prohibited’ and ‘permitted ‘ marriages.
